Orange City Area Information

In Orange City

Orange City is home to two attractions, Blue Spring State Park and Family Fun Town. Swim, boat or fish in St. Johns River's biggest spring at Blue Spring State Park ( All water-based activities are banned at the spring from November through March, but visitors can still enjoy picnicking, hiking and camping. Family Fun Town ( features mini golf, go karts, batting cages and an arcade. Recharge with pizza, hot dogs or chicken tenders before trying the bungee bounce, which allows kids to bounce from a bungee onto a trampoline. Both attractions are open daily.

To the North

Deland's Museum of Florida Art ( is dedicated to promoting and exhibiting art created by artists in Florida, such as Jackson Walker and Betty Press. Visitors can take part in workshops on abstract painting or purchase a gift at the store. The museum is open Tuesday through Sunday. Also in Deland, Hontoon Island State Park ( is in St. Johns River and is accessible via ferry, which is available daily from 8 a.m. to sunset, or by a private boat.
